Ciara And Future Get Engaged, Singer Shares Birthday Photos On Instagram

Ciara and Future are engaged.

A publicist for the singer confirmed the news today to People Magazine. The rep said that Future surprised Ciara with an engagement ring this weekend for her birthday.

The rep said: “Future surprised Ciara with an engagement ring this weekend, also her birthday weekend, in New York City… The ring, which doubled as a special birthday gift, is a beautiful 15-carat emerald cut diamond designed by Avianne & Co.”

Of course, Ciara didn’t need her publicist to share the news for her. The singer has been posting photos and messages to her Instagram and Twitter accounts since Future proposed this weekend.

Ciara writes on Twitter: “Today Has 2 Be Like One Of The Sweetest Days Of My Life! #TheBestBirthdayEver. If I’m Dreaming I Don’t Want To Wake Up..Aaaaaahhh!!!:)

The engagement news comes just a few days after a pregnancy rumors. MTV wrote last week that several of the singer’s fans thought she looked pregnant while performing in New York City. The singer hasn’t confirmed the pregnancy news yet but the recent engagement may point to the fact that Ciara and Future are expecting their first child together.

Of course, the pregnancy rumors may also be false. Regardless, Ciara is thrilled to be marrying her boyfriend Future.
