MySpace Set For Makeover

MySpace is getting a makeover next week.

The site has announced it’ll debut its updated design on Wednesday. The changes feature a more user-friendly profile editing tool, an HD-ready embeddable MySpaceTV player, and a revamped search process. The main navigation bar is also simplified from the old text-heavy look.

The news comes the same day as word that social networking rival Facebook is catching up in terms of monthly traffic. New numbers released by ComScore found both sites hitting the same 115 million mark for the month of April. MySpace is still ahead in U.S. totals.
