Katy Perry And Robert Pattinson’s Drunken Karaoke Surfaces [Video]

Robert Pattinson and Katy Perry are really close friends. The two have said that their friendship is strictly platonic, but some outlets wondered if at one point things were a little less platonic and a little more steamy between the pair. While we’ll never know what happened between Robert Pattinson and Katy Perry, we at least have a video of their drunken karaoke times.

The video of Perry and Pattinson singing “I’ll Make Love To You” dates back to 2008. The time is pretty significant for both stars, seeing as they were both breaking out at that time. For Katy her ‘I Kissed A Girl” single was just starting to get radio play, and for Pattinson that year started the whirlwind that was Twilight.

Spotted sitting close together, Perry looks to be completely gone as she slowly sips her cup of what is presumed to be pretty strong alcohol. Pattinson is not that far off as he appears to look wobbly as he and Katy completely butcher the song made popular by Boyz II Men.

At one point during the video Katy Perry simply ditches her seat and decides to sit on Robert Pattinson’s lap. Our guess is that she was just trying to get a closer look at those lyrics, or maybe, just maybe, she just wanted to sit on Pattinson’s lap. Either way Robert Pattinson didn’t seem to mind that Katy switched seats, and the two rambled and half sung the song as the video came to an abrupt end.

This isn’t the first time Robert Pattinson and Katy Perry were spotted hanging out. The two were spotted dining out and seemed to be enjoying each other’s company. Although they’re platonic that of course didn’t stop the rumors from happening, especially right after Pattinson’s split from Twilight co-star Kristen Stewart, as this was a time where Perry was also single again.

In an interview with Elle UK, Katy Perry didn’t mince words as she spoke about her friendship with Robert:

“I sent her [Stewart] a text message saying: ‘I know you’ve seen all this stuff but you know I would never disrespect you. I’m not that person. I’m just trying to be a friend to him but it is unfortunate that I do have a set of t*ts.'”

Currently Katy Perry is back on again with her boyfriend John Mayer, while Robert Pattinson is with Dylan Penn.
