Luke Grimes Joins ‘Fifty Shades Of Grey’ Cast

The Fifty Shades Of Grey cast is finally coming together. Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson have already been confirmed for the two lead roles and now Luke Grimes has joined the cast.

The Hollywood Reporter notes that Grimes, best known from the show True Blood, will play Christian Grey’s brother Elliot Grey in the new movie.

Jamie Dornan, of course, will be playing the lead of Christian Grey and Dakota Johnson will be playing Anastasia Steele.

If you haven’t read the novel (wait a minute, you haven’t read the novel!) Elliot Grey is a major role. He is close with his brother Christian and ends up having a fling with Steel’s best friend and roommate, Katherine Agnes “Kate” Kavanagh.

The 50 Shades Of Grey wiki reads: (Elliot Grey) is introduced in Fifty Shades of Grey when he accompanies his brother Christian to pick up a drunk Anastasia Steele at a bar in Portland. There he meets Kate Kavanagh, who becomes his girlfriend and eventually his wife.”

The role of Kate has not been cast yet.

Luke Grimes is best known for the television show True Blood but he also has some acting experience. Grimes has appeared in Taken 2 and will soon appear in the movie Squatters.

The news has been confirmed by various outlets but author E.L. James has not posted the news on her Twitter account yet. The author sent waves through the twitterverse yesterday when she confirmed that Jamie Dornan would be playing Christian Grey.
