UI Teaching Assistant Accidentally Sends Students Porn Of Herself

A University of Iowa TA emailed all of her students GIFs from a cyber-sex session she had with her boyfriend in a Google+ Hangout. Naturally, this story needs some context and explanation.

School officials say that a teaching assistant did indeed email “inappropriate content to her students” Tuesday night, and that they are currently investigating the matter. They are also asking anyone who received the attachments to simply delete them and not pass the explicit images around, especially to a publication like Barstool U.

The email that the TA sent was supposed to include the answers to a class assignment.

“Hi Class, I attach the solutions for number 76 and 78 in this email,” it read.

Instead, according to TotalFratMove, “The images are from a video chat that is quite sexual in nature. It appears that two people are ‘cyber-sexing’ from different locations using video equipment.”

A University of Iowa rep said that the school has addressed the issue with the TA involved, and that no disciplinary actions have been taken at this time.

“The individual who sent the messages has stated that it was an accident. She regrets her actions,” UI Spokesman Tom Moore said in an email. “This incident was inappropriate, and the university will look into it and take appropriate actions under our policies and procedures.”

Interestingly, the TA was back in class this morning, according to one of her students.

“The TA was teaching her 7:30 discussion session this morning trying to act like nothing happened but clearly very rattled. No one said anything about it but it was just extremely awkward,” student Charlie Holmgren said.

Still, UI students in the class haven’t stopped tweeting about it.
