Channing Tatum Flies For ’22 Jump Street’

Channing Tatum believes he can fly, and so do we after the actor posted some of his own stunt work from 22 Jump Street. Tatum is currently filming the sequel to the hit 21 Jump Street with Jonah Hill, and it seems like he couldn’t resist from showing off just how well he leaps through the air. Earlier Tatum posted the clip on his Instagram which shows Channing flying through the air in a football uniform.

For his Instagram caption, Tatum wrote: “I belieeeeve I can fly…#22 JumpStreet.” The caption an obvious take off of the popular 90s song from R&B singer R. Kelly. Do we think Tatum will be singing the hit tune in the new 22 Jump Street film? Probably not.

For 22 Jump Street Channing Tatum will be reprising his role as the lovable dumb jock, Greg Jenko, who is puzzled by the fads of the younger generation. Instead of going undercover at another high school Jenko and Morton Schmidt, have been assigned to go undercover at a local college.

This time around it looks like Jenko has joined the football team while Schmidt is going head first into the bohemian art scene, as an art major. According to E! the plot hinges on the boys friendship and if they can mature past their days on 21 Jump Street.

When Tatum isn’t flying through the air, he’s pretty busy at home raising newborn Everly Tatum, with wife Jenna Dewan-Tatum. Jenna revealed that there is a downside to living with her Sexiest Man Alive hubby, and that’s his bed habits. The actress told Ryan Seacrest’s radio show that Tatum hogs the bed!

“He definitely hogs the bed [though]. I don’t know if that’s not sexy. But I’m like constantly, between him and my two dogs, falling off the bed at night.”

22 Jump Street hits theaters on June 13, 2014.
