Lori Loughlin Kills Any Hope Of A ‘Full House’ Reunion

Lori Loughlin had the role of her career as Becky on Full House, but she isn’t in the mood to revisit it anytime soon.

This week the 49-year-old actress threw cold water on talks of reuniting the cast of the family friendly sitcom, saying she prefers to leave the series as is.

“I don’t think that there are any plans for a movie,” Loughlin said. “If it were a really good script and a great project, but sometimes I think that it’s better off to leave those TV shows as they were and not do reunion shows.”

Not all of the Full House cast members want to keep it in the past, however. In an interview this summer, fellow castmate and on-screen husband John Stamos spoke longingly of his relationship with Lori Loughlin, calling her “the one who got away.”

Lori noted that the two did in fact date when they were younger and before the show went on the air, but they could never get the timing right to reconnect.

“And we actually did date, we went on a date to Disneyland before we were both married. In real life, when we were 18, 19,” John Stamos said. “We did have some off timing, but no disrespect to her family and her husband now, I would say that she could be the one that got away.”

After finding out that Stamos still pined for her, Loughlin sounded flattered.

“Oh, my goodness. Well, we’ll never know, right?” she told E! News about at the opening of the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts in Beverly Hills on Thursday. “I will always love John, always.”

While there may not be a formal reunion, Lori Loughlin and the rest of the Full House cast have gotten together socially many times.
